Objectives
We pride ourselves as Chamars, followers of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji and our vision is to work for the social welfare and advancement of our community through economic, political, spiritual and social justice. Our purpose is to assert our religious identity and strive for our rights; we make no apology for this. Our Aims & Objectives Our members hail from all professions, countries and backgrounds but share a common passion to work for the common good of our community. Our chief objective is to convey through everything we do a commitment to the following values:
To espouse the teachings and accurate history of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. To combat caste discrimination and campaign for equality as a fundamental human right and a basic principle of social justice through advocacy, community partnerships, and the development & dissemination of knowledge through enquiry.
To monitor and expose caste atrocities; challenge religious hypocrisy and campaign / lobby for direct action.
A goal to research, preserve and promote Ravidassia history with accuracy and integrity which has been lacking in conventional history.
And in so doing to highlight the rich heritage and contribution of Ravidassia Chamars in Indian social, political and religious movements.
To initiate a social development and educational programme for the poorer sections of the community. To work with like minded organisations and individuals to exchange ideas, express solidarity and offer tacit support to further our common cause.

i feel very strongly, that without having our own identity, we would not get justice from anyone. i do know that the guru granth shahib, teaches us that, there is no caste in sikhism. but in reality that is not the case. all i want to say to our brothers and sisters, is that, let us all speak with one voice, and put our differences to one side, and gracefully follow the path, laid down before us by 108 sant niranjan dass ji.i think it is time for us to break free from the chains put on us by those who call themselves higher class. these idiots cannot follow the teaching of the granth sahib, what justice can we expect from them. jai gurdev.
